Ces chevaux pie près d’une grande grange traditionnelle en bois se trouvaient près de Rivière aux Français. C’est une région où les Franco-Ontariens sont encore très présents. Soit qu’ils descendent de familles installées depuis plusieurs générations, soit que leur arrivée soit plus récente, la proximité avec le Québec favorisant les déménagements pour profiter d’une opportunité d’emploi.

  Thanks. It’s a nice way to say that it’s very cliché, that’s the purpose of this series, to show the classic images of this region a little dated, but still intriguing to drive through.

    Thanks, I agree. I was quite shocked to discover this fashion of recycling wood from old barns for interior decoration. What will we see once all the old barns are down.
